1. Information We Collect
To provide our deepfake and AI image analysis services, we process certain types of data:
- Authentication Information: When you register or sign in using Google Sign-In or email, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture via Firebase Authentication to secure your account.
- Image Data: The App requires access to your device's Camera and Photo Gallery. Images captured or selected are processed through our analysis models. These images are processed transiently and are not stored permanently on our servers unless you explicitly save them to your scan history.
- App Usage & Credit Data: We track your transaction logs and scan counts (credits balance) within Google Firebase Firestore to manage the credit-based scanning model.
2. Permissions and Devices
The App requests the following Android permissions to function properly:
- CAMERA Permission: Allows you to capture photos directly from the app for real-time deepfake analysis.
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES Permissions: Allows you to select pre-existing photos from your device's photo gallery for analysis.
3. Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party services that collect data used to identify you and facilitate key features:
- Google Play Services: For app delivery, security, and updates.
- Google Firebase: Used for User Authentication (Firebase Auth) and cloud database storage (Firestore) to keep your credits, logs, and profile synced.
- Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display rewarded advertisements, which allow users to earn scan credits. AdMob may collect and process device IDs, cookies, and other advertising identifiers to deliver relevant ads and combat fraud.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your profile data and scan history only as long as you maintain your account. You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated scan records at any time by contacting our support team at support@imagiproof.com.
5. GDPR and CCPA Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please email us.
